What you’ll do:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to lead the design and development of our multi-cloud based SaaS platforms. The Principal Architect will be responsible for the overall architectural oversight and guidance of our AWS and GCP based SaaS platforms including (but not limited to) owning the 3 year technical vision and roadmap, designing the systems for scale, leading the testing and implementation of new technologies, optimizing the platforms for reduce costs, and improving overall platform efficiency and performance.

Your skill-set: 

• 10+ years experience in software architecture and design, with experience designing cloud-based systems
• Subject Matter Expert at designing and operating complex software systems in Kubernetes, Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services.
• Understand advanced concepts around cloud networking (and the costs and technical limitations that come with it)
• Experience writing or working on protocols (bonus: experience with SIP/RTP)
• Broad experience in full stack development, with specific architectural understanding of public cloud networking, Object and Block services, Streaming (Pulsar, Kafka), Containerization, Messaging Queues, Data Stores and more
• Research and analyze current trends in cloud technologies and develop strategies to utilize them

• • Understand the Pindrop cloud platforms and what we need to achieve to continue to have a world class set of enterprise SaaS offerings 

• Within 90 days you’ll

• Champion your long term vision and work with our engineering teams to plan out our long term architecture roadmap
