Job Description

The SVP, Broker/Consultant Strategy is a highly collaborative, relationship-oriented, influential individual who is responsible for the strategy, relationship management, education, and ongoing development with the top consulting practices in the US. The SVP will be responsible for accelerating Vida Health’s growth and profitability within the healthcare landscape by driving growth with top tier Broker Consulting firms across the employer spectrum. The SVP will oversee a team of people who work alongside Vida’s employer sales team to build relationships, identify opportunities, and ultimately drive bookings through various high priority broker

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Partner with Chief Growth Officer in overseeing the company’s broker/consultant strategy
    • Establishes and maintains key relationships with identified targeted key influencers in the top large consulting practices at the enterprise level
    • Leverage your network of influencers to create opportunities
    • Drive an annual engagement plan across the brokerage firms, including webinars, social events, innovative roundtable discussions, lunch-n-learns, and other thought leadership activities
    • Partner with Vida’s Sales leaders for coverage and engagement of all major broker/consultant offices
    • In partnership with sales operations, develop and advance performance metrics that track broker/consultant penetration and effectiveness
    • Partner with marketing teams to drive high impact collateral targeted at broker/consultant audiences
    • Manage internal team of 1-2 professionals (to start) that are focused and deployed aligned to the various broker/consulting firms
    • Participate in thought leadership events, driving perspective on cardiometabolic care
    • Accountable for dollar targets in opportunity creation and bookings through the broker/consultant channel

REQUIREMENTS

    • 7-10+ years of experience within the broker/consultant industry, and a history of creating sales opportunities through partnerships
    • Minimum Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience in a successful digital health start-up a plus, showing growth in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Have a combination of experience at one of the top tier benefits consulting firms (WTW, Aon, Gallagher, Mercer, etc) and experience in the digital health space
    • Deep experience and understanding of the healthcare employer benefits ecosystem, with an impressive track record of engaging new business and building strong partnerships
